Ella sat on the couch with her young niece, Rebecca, watching the poker game with disbelief. They were both shamefully naked and felt completely vulnerable. A vast array of teepees also dotted the landscape with an abnormally large one in close proximity to the ranch house. The compound was buzzing with activity upon their arrival and they were pulled off the horses by the men, no longer wearing their masks, and marched to the ranch house.
